Streamlined absolute-divorce representation for spouses who have lived separate and apart for at least one year and meet North Carolina’s residency requirement. Agreement can simplify related issues, but it does not remove the statutory separation period.

Aggressive representation in contested divorces of the state involving complex assets, custody disputes, and high-conflict separation proceedings.
Property Division
North Carolina uses equitable distribution, which means marital property and debt are divided fairly under the statutory factors—not automatically 50/50. We work to classify, value, and trace disputed assets and debts.

Post-separation support and alimony under North Carolina law. We represent both supporting and dependent spouses in negotiations and hearings.
Absolute Divorce
Absolute divorce is available after the statutory one-year separation period and ends the marriage. It does not automatically resolve custody, support, or equitable-distribution claims, so related rights must be identified and preserved.
