Krystal Telfair

Family Law Attorney

Krystal’s journey into the legal profession began while working in the Greensboro City Attorney’s Office, where she spent several years supporting attorneys and witnessing firsthand the meaningful impact legal advocacy can have on people’s lives. Inspired by that experience, she pursued law school with a clear purpose: to help individuals facing some of life’s most emotional and uncertain moments. Whether guiding clients through family law matters or assisting with estate planning, Krystal is passionate about providing thoughtful counsel that empowers people to move forward with confidence and peace of mind.

Krystal is a compassionate family law attorney dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's most difficult transitions.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Krystal has built her career around serving individuals during periods of significant personal change. Her background as a legal assistant, combined with her legal education and mediation training, has shaped a practical yet compassionate approach to advocacy. She understands that many clients enter the legal system feeling overwhelmed and unfamiliar with the process, and she is committed to helping them navigate each step with confidence.

Krystal believes every case begins with listening. She takes the time to understand not only the legal issues her clients are facing but also the circumstances that brought them to her office and the outcomes they hope to achieve. By setting realistic expectations and focusing on practical solutions, she helps clients make informed decisions while working toward resolutions that best serve their long-term interests.

Krystal believes trust is built from the very first conversation, long before a case reaches the courtroom. She prioritizes open communication, transparency, and collaboration, ensuring clients feel heard, supported, and informed throughout the legal process. Her calm demeanor and empathetic approach help de-escalate emotionally charged situations, allowing clients to focus on making thoughtful decisions during difficult times.

Outside of her practice, Krystal enjoys reading, writing, and continually expanding her legal knowledge. An English major at heart, she enjoys maintaining personal blogs and views writing as both a creative outlet and a way to connect with others. She also has a strong interest in estate planning and hopes to continue serving her community through pro bono work in that area. When she is not practicing law, Krystal enjoys spending time with her cat and pursuing opportunities to learn, grow, and advocate for those who may not otherwise have the resources to advocate for themselves.
